1) Am I eligible for benefits in 2026 ?
All full-time employees are eligible for benefits. To be considered a full-time employee, according to the
Affordable Care Act (ACA) you must work an average of 130 hours a month which leads to an average of 1560 hours per year.
2) I am a new employee of Tejvi. How do I know if I am eligible?
New full-time employees are eligible to enroll in benefits first of the month following 90 days. For example, your start date is 09/15/2025. You will be eligible for benefits 01/01/2026.
3) I received benefits in 2025. Why am I not receiving them in 2026?
If you did not work 30 hours per week or an average of 1560 hours in 2025, you are not eligible for benefits during the plan year.
4). I was previously working part-time and am now full-time. Am I eligible for benefits?
If you move from a part-time to full-time status, after 3 consecutive months at full-time, you will become eligible for benefits. You must work 130 hours a month which leads to an average of 1560 hours per year to be eligible.
5) Do I need to do anything during open enrollment to ensure I have benefits for ?
Yes. Whether you had benefits last year or this is your first year receiving benefits, you must log in and make your benefit elections during open enrollment. If you do not log in and make any elections, you are declining benefits and will have zero coverage for 2026.
6) Why are my benefits more expensive in 2026?
In 2026, employees will see an increase in their monthly premiums for medical insurance. This increase is due to rising healthcare costs, company participation rates from past years, and claims made during 2025.
7) Does Tejvi contribute to monthly insurance premiums?
Tejvi contributes 60% of the monthly Employee premium. For additional levels of coverage, employee is responsible to cover spouse/ children’s monthly premiums
8) How much money will come out of my paycheck each pay period for my benefits?
Deductions from your paycheck will be determined by which benefits you elect. To calculate your anticipated bi-weekly deductions, please refer to the contribution list.
